Coaching
A student's coach will give them personal support for learning and their social-emotional development.
Below, you will read what makes the coaching system at Grotius special and why it's such an important part of our view on education.
Support
Extra support
If it turns out that a student need extra support, this is provided by a team with expertise. Within the expertise centre, our experienced coaches, school support staff, remedial educationalists and other experts will work daily with pupils who have a support need. The expertise centre will offer tailor-made help to you.
What we offer
For every student, we offer:
- Individual social- and emotional guidance
- Tutoring for dyslexia or dyscalculia, reading comprehension
- Individual or group counselling to combat exam stress and/or fear of failure
- Tutoring in the area of giftedness
- Tutoring in the field of career orientation and further education
- Support from school social work
Extra support
We believe it is important that all students have equal opportunities to be successful at school and in their future lives.
We achieve this by offering support in a tailor-made class where, among other things, homework help/exam training is offered from the school. We offer this guidance free of charge so that all students have access to this extra support, regardless of their financial situation.
